For any indoor session, the time of day is more flexible. For families with babies and young kids, I will usually suggest a morning time where the kids are a bit more happy and relaxed BUT if you prefer afternoons then we can do that!

Outdoor sessions usually take place during golden hour which is the time of day just after sunrise or just before sunset. We can definitely adjust and pick a time that works a bit better for your family but I highly recommend golden hour to make those photos extra special.

I do not do posed newborn sessions and I don’t bring any props with. I want to capture what unfolds right in front of me naturally in your home with you and your family. If you have anything special you want in the photos we can absolutely add those in that mean something to you and your family.

The goal is that YOU feel amazing in whatever you wear, which means you also need to be comfortable. However, there are choices you can make about what to wear that will make your session that little bit extra special to look back on.

• Neutrals are timeless!
• Flowy skirts / maxi dresses or simple, classic basics matched with textured overlays tend to photograph really beautifully. 
• Try to avoid wearing shirts with big graphics/logos/lettering or mixing too many patterns as well as black and really dark colors especially if your session is in home.
• Complementary colors are always nice!
• Consider the location! Knowing the location can help narrow down the outfit choices

If it is raining, we will reschedule your session. If the forecast looks wet, we can either make the call the night before, or play it by ear and wait til morning. I’ll be in contact in the days leading up to the session to chat about our options. We’ll reschedule if you guys are sick, and we’ll also reschedule if I’m sick! However mild the symptoms are, it is important to make sure we don’t make it any worse
